Can an employer stop an employee who may be at risk of having contracted coronavirus from coming to work?

You are under a legal duty to ensure the health and safety of all staff and to provide a safe place and system of work. Current government guidance is that an individual should self-isolate at home for 14 days after visiting certain areas or after having close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19)  even if an employee  does not show  symptoms  of  the coronavirus.
